Funny, but we're not hearing a whole lot from the namby-pamby crowd that made a cottage industry out of criticizing Bush administration work on a national missile defense system.

Oh, that might be because, despite the naysayers, the administration doggedly pursued development of such a system, turned on the "operational" key this week and has another tool in dealing with the rogues now playing with rockets in North Korea.

Considering the fact that the missile defense system has failed even rigged tests notwithstanding.

"The nation that cannot resist aggression is constantly exposed to it," Grover Cleveland once said. Perhaps even the namby-pambies understand that now.

When you fall to the level of quoting Grover Cleveland you've got nothing left.
